he Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences at Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University has launched a significant educational partnership with the Supply Command of the Land Forces Logistics Command. This strategic collaboration brings cutting-edge academic expertise in artificial intelligence and cybersecurity directly to our national defense personnel.

Bridging Academia and Defense

Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University (NÖHÜ) and the K.K. Lojistik Komutanlığı İkmal Komutanlığı (Supply Command) have officially implemented a comprehensive "Education Collaboration Protocol". Executed by our Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences, the program aims to enhance the technological awareness and technical skills of the personnel serving at the Şehit Albay Nuri Pamir Barracks in Bor.

Core Training Pillars

The initiative, which began in March 2026, focuses on several high-impact areas of modern informatics:

• Artificial Intelligence Awareness: Experts from our faculty are delivering specialized conferences at the barracks to discuss AI applications and future trends.

• Cybersecurity Training: Intensive sessions are being held to strengthen the defense capabilities of personnel against evolving digital threats.

• Advanced Practical Skills: Groups of up to 30 personnel are receiving hands-on training at our university facilities, focusing on advanced Microsoft functions and data analytics.

Progress Update

Training sessions are currently in full swing, featuring both theoretical lectures at the kışla (barracks) and practical laboratory work at the university. The high level of engagement from the participants underscores the critical importance of these technologies in modern logistics and defense operations.
