Course Objective
The objective of this course is to introduce associate degree students to the fundamental concepts, functions (planning, recruitment, training, performance, compensation), and strategic importance of human resource management within a business. It aims to ensure that students gain a basic perspective on how to effectively and efficiently manage human resources within an organization and learn the basic tools and techniques used in these processes.
Brief Content of the Course
The course begins with the definition, historical development, and objectives of human resource management. It examines in detail the core functions of HRM, including human resource planning, job analysis and job design, recruitment and selection processes (including interview techniques), orientation and training management, performance appraisal methods, career planning, and compensation management. Additionally, occupational health and safety, employee relations, and current trends in HRM (digital HR, talent management) are covered.
