Course Objectives 
1To enable students to explain the basic circuit components used in electrical and electronic systems together with their physical units (resistors, diodes, transistors, thyristors, capacitors, etc.).
2To enable students to identify and use electrical and electronic measuring instruments such as multimeters and voltmeters.
3Ability to identify the concepts of voltage, current, and resistance and to interpret the operation of basic electrical and electronic circuits based on schematic diagrams.
4Ability to recognize and use the tools and equipment available in the electrical and electronics laboratory.
5To enable students to understand and apply Ohm’s Law and Kirchhoff’s Laws in series and parallel circuit configurations.
