As a result of our university’s long-standing efforts in the field of hydrogen energy, the Prof. Dr. T. Nejat Veziroğlu Clean Energy Research and Application Center, directed by Prof. Dr. Bora Timurkutluk, a faculty member of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at our Faculty, has been honored with the “Technology Award” at the ceremony organized by the Hydrogen Technologies Association within the scope of the 10th International Hydrogen Technologies Congress (IHTEC-2026).

At the same ceremony, Prof. Dr. Bora Timurkutluk was presented with the “Service Award” in recognition of his significant contributions to the hydrogen energy field through his scientific research, technology development activities, leadership in the education and mentoring of young researchers, educational initiatives, and collaborations with industry that have supported the development of the hydrogen ecosystem at both national and international levels.
